Gingerbread Houses (Messy Fun)

Yes, it is only the beginning of November but in our home we have already made gingerbread houses, played Christmas music, and put up our outside christmas lights (no, we won't turn them on until after Thanksgiving). Dan had to fight hard to keep us from putting up the Christmas tree and wrapping presents---that will be next week :)

Anyways, Gingerbread houses was a fun and messy time. The kids loved decorating the houses (made out of graham crackers and put together with a hot glue gun). Quentin put gummy sharks on the roof and labelled his house with a "Q" on each side. Hallee built a sand-box, swing-set, and a fire pit (to keep Santa warm).
