I know most kids aren't out of school yet, but Quentin is done for the summer and we are taking full advantage. I joined a club that tells me about fun free trips and gives discounts to many fun places. So first we took the kids to "Bounce-U," a great place filled with inflatable bouncy things like slides, and obstacle courses. The kids bounced and played non-stop...they slept good that night!
Then we went on a tour of welfare square. The kids loved seeing how cheese and bread is made. They especially loved the free samples...who doesn't love free?
Speaking of free samples, obviously we had to hit the candy factory! We took the free tour of Sweets candy factory (they make salt water taffy, cinammon bears, orange sticks, and lots of other stuff). The kids loved wearing their candy hats (also known as hair-nets).
The kids wend camping for the first time last week...(unless you count sleeping in our backyard or in our living room). The kids loved camping because they got to roast their own hot-dogs, and burn as many marshmellows as they wanted. The best part was having s'mores for break-fast...
