September...

With Hallee being gone all day at school the babies miss her a lot. When she gets home they are just waking up from their nap and want to snuggle with her.



The older kids and Dan had a great time camping even though it was cold. The babies and I had a great time staying home to sleep in our own beds.



We took a quick trip to the mine so Aaron could see all of the big trucks he loves so much.



Quentin won the summer reading contest at school for reading the most pages out of the third grade. He is excited to get a free book at the Book Fair.



I have waited seven years for this day. It is kind of a wierd picture but if you can't tell we got new carpet! No more ugly green! I tried to get the kids to sit still so I could take a picture but that didn't happen. It was a lot of work to move everything but it was worth it!



Carly is always wearing someone's shoes. Today she chose Hallee's church shoes as her favorite. Most babies want to go to sleep with a stuffed animal or a toy, not Carly. She wants shoes!



Hallee was pretty excited to make her own PineWood Derby car.



Quentin was excited to make his first Pine Wood Derby Car. He insisted on making The Knight Bus from his favorite Harry Potter books. Dan was excited because that would be easy and not involve any complicated cutting. Just using the block of wood they give you pays off because he won Second Place!



We tease Hallee that she lives in craft land because she is always coloring, cutting or doing something crafty. Her wonderful messes have been spread all over my kitchen. So it was time for her to have her own desk where the mess had to be contained. The kids love having a space of their own!
