Back to Reality

"To all who enter this happy place...Welcome!" Yes, once again we visited the happiest place on earth, and, as always it was so hard to come back home to reality. After our week in Disneyland we could have stayed forever. We had so much fun!

We even got one of those "magic moments" at Disney's year of a million dreams. I don't know if we would have considered it "magical," but it was an honor just being selected! We went to eat lunch in one of the restaurants, and got to sit at a reserved table with a white table cloth (instead of no tablecloth) and our own server to bring us our food instead of waiting in line like everyone else. Thanks Disney!!

Our kids love parades...so of course we sat through 8 Disney parades...here we are on main street Disney waiting for another Disney parade.

Quentin's new love is Pirates (arrrrrggghhh matey!!) He'll tell you we rode the pirates ride at least 9 times throughout the week. All week long Quentin begged for a pirate gun. Mommy doesn't allow guns in the house, especially for little boys. On our last night in Disneyland we finally gave in and surprised him with his own pirate gun. He thought it was the coolest thing ever! We then had a long talk about how pirates are nice and don't shoot people. Hopefully he will belive that for a long time.

Hallee insisted on wearing her princess dress all week long. By our last day people stopped waiting in line too close to us because of the stench!! Okay, not really. We only let her wear it two days. Anyways, as she ran to give Cinderella a hug, Cinderalla said "Hey, were you in my closet this morning?" It was super cute. Hallee smiled all day long...she was a happy princess!

Here we are waiting again for the parade to come. But this isn't just any parade, it was Quentin's favorite because Lightning Mcqueen and Mater were in this one at California Adventure...

...Quentin could hardly contain himself. He crawled out in the road so he could see Lightning sooner.

We enjoyed dinner with the princesses one night. The boys have always had a crush on Sleeping Beauty (they think she's the cutest) and started blushing when they had their picture taken with her.

Hallee loved the tea cups! (Although she has never seen Alice in Wonderland, gotta rent that one!) Quentin rode pirates over and over with Daddy and the girls enjoyed the tea cups. Just thinking about how many times we rode them makes me dizzy.

It is all over now, and yes we are settling back into reality. Today Dan asked when are we going on vacation again. Maybe next year.....
